Combine soy sauce, honey, rice wine vinegar, oil, sesame oil, minced garlic, ginger and black pepper. Mix well.
Pour marinade into a ziplock bag filled with chicken drumsticks.
Alternatively, instead of ziplock bag, use a large bowl.
Mix well and ensure chicken is well coated, cover (if using a bowl) and marinate for 1 hour or overnight in the fridge.
With a pair of tongs, place chicken drumsticks onto a lined baking tray. Bake at 400°F for 35 minutes.
After 35min, flip drumsticks over and pour the reserved marinade all over the drumsticks. Switch oven to broil and broil for 7 minutes.
Flip the chicken once again, glaze the chicken with sauce in the tray. Broil a further 7 minutes.
