Healthy beef & lentil bolognese

Easy, healthy and delicious! This speedy beef and lentil bolognese take just 25 minutes from start to finish, making it the perfect mid-week dinner.



Saute beef with garlic then add balsamic vinegar and reduce. Stir in drained, canned lentils.


Then add canned tomatoes, sugar, dried oregano, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes with some fresh basil.


Mix in cooked pasta thoroughly so that it will taste amazing! Taste and adjust for seasoning to taste if desired.

Lentils not only are filled with fibre and lots of good nutrients, they also take on flavours really well! To serve, top with fresh basil and feta!
